1/11 Crater of Diamonds State Park, Murfreesboro, Arkansas
Crater of Diamonds State Park is the only diamond-producing site on earth where the public can search for diamonds. You can find whatever you keep, in fact, one man who moved to the area because he loves to hunt diamonds found a 6.19 carat diamond at the park just last spring.
You don't even have to dig for deep to find them as they're sometimes seen lying right on top of the soil. If you'd like to rent tools, you can get a shovel, bucket and wooden box screen here too. The professional treasure hunters at the park's visitors' center also offer a free service to help determine if your find is really a diamond or a dud. Over the past four decades, nearly 30,000 diamonds have been discovered here.
